Our Belief
We, the members of LAM, Liberating the African Mind, firmly believe that the future of Africa lies completely with the liberated and enlightened African minds. That is, for Africa to record meaningful growth and development like other continents where most African leaders/elites hide the looted funds from Africa, African affairs MUST be run by those Africans who have risen above and beyond the following related fundamental enemies of Africa, namely, a feeling of inferiority, colonial mentality and mental slavery.
Only those enlightened/educated Africans understand, far beyond any shadow of doubts, how these three enemies of destruction constitute the super destroyers of the present day Africa. Bob Marley hit it on the nail in one of his songs:
\"Emancipate yourself from mental slavery; [for] none but ourselves can free our minds." -- (Bob Marley).
Our Hope
Our ultimate hope is that African leaders and elites should, on a collective level, start putting their own people first, just as the "civilized" leaders put their own people first. Putting African people - their own people -- first could easily be done if and when they (African leaders and elites) start, again on a collective level, investing African money in Africa!
